Legion donates $2,400 to Haven in Hollow linens

Linens for 20 beds (15 men, 5 women) at Haven in the Hollow First Stage Housing were purchased through a $2,400 donation by the Mission Legion Poppy Fun proceeds. MCSS receives $85,500 funding for new van, job skills program

$85,500 cheque was presented May 2, 2015 to MCSS by MLA Simon Gibson representing the Province of B.C. for a new MCSS passenger van to serve clients in a number of programs from seniors to those new to Canada.  $43,000 of that amount is for Anything Possible, a job skills program for vulnerable adults.  MCSS […]
