The importance of motor skills -self- paced workshop

May 30

The importance of motor skills

 May 1-31

Motor skills help children to explore their environments and are vital in the child’s ability to being able to function independently. We have to understand the importance of these motor skills to understand how they are an essential component of cognitive and social development.

Motor skills not only strengthen the muscles in our bodies, but they also strengthen the neural connections that help children execute academic tasks. Helping children develop these skills at a young age will help the child be better prepared to independently master tasks inside and outside of the classroom.

Let’s learn more about motor skills and how your child uses them in daily life. We’ll also talk about signs that a child may be struggling with them and explain discover ways that we can help.
