Mission Community Services Society is proud to welcome its new Executive Director, Michelle Puffer. Michelle takes over from Sanjay Gulati, who left the position in June to take up a new opportunity in Galway, Ireland.
Michelle began her career in the non-profit sector with the Salvation Army where she worked for five years as the Manager of Business Administration. She moved
on from there to take up a senior manager role with WeCare/CBI Home Care. She comes to MCSS from G4S Aviation where she served as Operations Director.
Michelle holds a Professional designation (PHRi) in Human Resources from the HR Certification Institute and a diploma in Business Management from the International Correspondence School.
“Michelle describes herself as having a heart for serving people and she is eager
to get back to working in the non-profit world,” stated Bob Ingram, Chair of
Mission Community Services Society. She is passionate, engaging, a strategic
thinker and she will bring solid operations leadership to MCSS, he added
Michelle will lead the management team at MCSS and is responsible for reporting
to the board of directors. She will serve as the main public contact and
spokesperson for MCSS, and will represent the organization in all professional
Michelle is looking forward to using her strong communication skills and
volunteer leadership experience in working with local community partners and
she will seek out opportunities to build on those relationships.
