Better at Home
Services Provided
Mission Better at Home provides non-medical services to assist seniors with simple day-to-day tasks so they can continue to live independently in their own (or rented) homes and stay connected to their communities.
Better at Home is funded by the Province of British Columbia and managed by the United Way of the Lower Mainland.
Fees for Mission Better at Home services are determined on a sliding scale based on the senior’s household income.
The program offers non-medical services to seniors who are:
- 55 Years of Age or Older
- Residents of Mission
- Living in Their Own Home
Services available through Mission Better at Home:
- Light Housekeeping
- Transportation to Medical Appointments
- Grocery Shopping
- Friendly Visitor/Caller
