Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels is a healthy, affordable, and fresh option for seniors who are at risk of isolation, have difficulty grocery shopping, or preparing their own meals.
Meals on Wheels provides low-cost, frozen meals delivered by our friendly volunteers every Friday (except on stat holidays). Our meal selection is prepared by our in-house kitchen staff, who carefully select and craft each menu item based on popular demand. Menu items are subject to change week to week, as our meals are made from the freshest ingredients available Our delicious frozen meals can be ordered for a regular delivery, or on a day-before order basis. Our Meals on Wheels entrees are priced at $6.00 each and contain a sizable 24 oz. Meals on Wheels home-made soup’s are priced at $3.00 each and come in 500ml sizes.

Lunch With a Bunch
Lunch With A Bunch serves up hot food and good times on the third Thursday of every month, and occasionally diners are joined by a guest speaker or live entertainment. The venue is Carrington House on Seventh Ave. Start time is 11:30 am. $10 fee. Register by calling (604) 826 - 3634.

Income Tax Assistance
Our Community Volunteer Income Tax Clinic will open March 1st - 28th April 2023.
Opening Days - Mon/Wed & Fridays only, from 10am - 1pm.
A volunteer from Mission Community Services Society, trained by the Canada Revenue Agency, will help prepare & electronically file (if eligible).
What do you need to bring?
Bring all your documents, including:
- The previous year's tax assessment.
- All your T slips (work, OAS, CPP, Income Assistance, Worker’s Compensation, EI)
All your receipts (medical, tuition, moving expenses, child care, RRSP contributions) - Your ID
