Meals on Wheels provides low-cost, hot meals delivered by volunteers between 12 noon and 1 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday and Friday except on stat holidays.  They are prepared by kitchen staff at The Cedars in Mission.

On Fridays, frozen meals are also available on order. This will be done through the efforts of the kitchen team at Mission Secondary School.

Each meal consists of soup and crackers, entrée, salad and dessert at a cost of $6.50 each.  To see a video of how the meals are created, check out this LINK.

The service is available to anyone, any age in the Mission area.

One volunteer driver said “I look forward to delivering meals to the clients.  It makes me feel good to know that I’m making a difference in their lives.”

Volunteers are offered a special orientation and must agree to a criminal record check.
