Mission Royal Canadian Legion President Pauline Mann was at MCSS offices on June 13 to present $2,500 raised for the Adopt-A-Senior program.

Receiving the cheque were Karen Laing, manager, Governance and Resource Development, and Sanjay Gulati, MCSS executive director.

For a monthly contribution, the program also allows donors to contribute to the following services:  Housekeeping, Meals on Wheels, Shopping Trips and Medical Rides for seniors who express a need.

“We’re giving seniors a hand and so can you,” said program coordinator Debbie Doust of MCSS.
