MCSS and The Neighbourhood School Champions group involving École Christine Morrison Elementary and École Mission Central Elementary, a grassroots collective of parents, are partnering to put on a Mission Candlelight Parade preview party on Friday, Dec. 2 starting at 5:30 p.m.

The Light the Stairs event encourages parade-goers to park at Central School and safely walk the stairs down to MCSS on Second Avenue where there will be free hot chocolate and hotdogs before the parade begins.

Sing-a-longs and the festively-decorated stairs will help create a happy pre-Christmas mood for the community.
