Smiles were found everywhere on Dec. 13 at Mission Community Services Society when our secret Santa made his rounds, bearing carefully-wrapped gifts at Welton Towers and Pleasantview in Mission. Debbie from our Seniors department served as a very helpful elf with the bounty of sparkling presents.

Some 104 gifts, the product of many anonymous donors, added cheer for the recipients, including Irwin (pictured here) who happened to be waiting in the MCSS Second Avenue reception area when Santa was preparing for his seniors journey.

“Would you like a gift?” asked Santa.

“Who, me?” asked Irwin.  “Why do I get a gift?”

“Well, it’s Christmas,” smiled Santa. “Ho, ho, ho!”

Irwin then moved to Santa’s knee for a priceless picture, and the festive season was set here at MCSS.
